2014 Barrel Series Carmenere

Appellation:   Cachapoal Valley, Chile

Varietal Composition:   100% Carménère

Description: Purplish red color with ruby hues. Aromas of plum, species, vanilla, cloves, pepper, smoke and tobacco. On the palate it is well structured, with soft, round tannins, nice finish.  Fermentation at 27oC-29oC, post fermentation maceration and aged in oak barrels for 8 months.  Serve between 16oC – 18oC with game birds, grilled meats and pastas.

2014 Barrel Series Cabernet Sauvignon

Appellation:   Cachapoal Valley, Chile

Varietal Composition:   100% Cabernet Sauvignon

Description: Very complex nose with hints of tobacco, spices and black fruits, and a soft hint of vanilla. Balanced with firm but silky tannins, good body and with a long and very persistent finish.  Fermentation at 27oC-29oC, post fermentation maceration and aged in oak barrels for 8 months.  Serve between 16oC – 18oC with grilled meats and cheeses.
